2.2 ML. EXTRAIT  DE  PARFUM Cleopatra is renowned for her beauty, and her physical appearance has been a subject of fascination throughout history. However, it is important to note that our knowledge of Cleopatra's appearance is primarily based on ancient texts, coins, and artistic representations, which may not provide a completely accurate depiction. Historical accounts describe Cleopatra as having a captivating presence, with a charming and seductive demeanor. She was known for her intelligence, wit, and charisma, which likely contributed to her overall allure. Artistic representations of Cleopatra often depict her with distinct features such as a prominent nose, a narrow face, and a small chin. However, it is important to recognize that these depictions can vary, as they were created by different artists and influenced by the artistic styles of their time. It is also worth noting that the concept of beauty can be subjective and culturally influenced. What was considered beautiful during Cleopatra's time may differ from contemporary beauty standards. "Nefer" is indeed an ancient Egyptian word that translates to "beauty" or "goodness" in English. It is a term commonly used in ancient Egyptian language and art to describe things that are aesthetically pleasing or morally virtuous. In the context of Cleopatra, while it is unclear if she was specifically referred to as "Nefer," she was often praised for her beauty and charm, and her image was depicted in a way that conveyed her regal and captivating presence. The term "Nefer" reflects the importance of beauty in ancient Egyptian culture and the admiration Cleopatra garnered for her appearance. And regarding the discovery in 2012 by archaeologists, they found remnants of ancient perfumes containing myrrh, cinnamon, and cardamom. These ingredients were commonly used in perfumery in ancient times, including Egypt. However, no concrete evidence links these specific scents to Cleopatra herself. Cleopatra is speculative and based on interpretations of ancient perfumery practices. In another story, According to the legend, Cleopatra's appearance captivated Julius Caesar when they first met do come from historical. Cleopatra was known for her intelligence, wit, and charisma, and her ability to charm powerful men was often highlighted in historical accounts. However, the specific details of their interactions and the extent to which Cleopatra's physical beauty played a role in their relationship can be challenging to ascertain with certainty. Historical accounts from ancient sources such as Plutarch and Cassius Dio provide some insights into the relationship between Cleopatra and Julius Caesar. These accounts suggest that Cleopatra used her intelligence and political acumen to establish a connection with Caesar and secure his support for her position in Egypt. However, it is important to note that this concept of a "golden aura" is largely interpretive and imaginative. There is no historical evidence or specific accounts that directly describe Cleopatra as having a literal golden aura around her. The idea of a golden aura is a metaphorical representation of her regal presence and charisma. It emphasizes her power, charm, and the luxurious lifestyle associated with her reign. In artistic depictions, Cleopatra is often shown adorned with opulent jewellery, dressed in rich fabrics, and surrounded by symbols of wealth and power. With the main materials of 2012's ancient perfume discovery. "Nefer" opens with citrus and coffee oil to create a vibrant and energizing opening that represents Cleopatra's charismatic presence. Nutmeg, Cardamom, Caraway, Ginger, Black Pepper, Cinnamon, and Coriander for a complex and intriguing spiced blend, reflecting the mystique and exotic nature often associated with Cleopatra. Followed by Rose, Narcissus, and Dried Fruits to capture the floral and sensual aspects of Cleopatra's beauty, evoking a sense of femininity and elegance. Base with Saffron, Amber, Sandalwood, and Gaiacwood to provide a rich and warm foundation, symbolizing luxury, and power. Adding depth and earthiness, complementing the overall composition and providing a hint of sensuality. Together "Nefer", a composition that is associated with ancient perfumery and seeks to capture the essence of Cleopatra's beauty, charm, and enigmatic allure by combining ingredients that represent her life and legacy that have been subject to romanticized interpretations and embellishments over time, her impact as a powerful ruler and influential figure cannot be denied. It is a savoury and spicy soup with a distinct balance of sourness, herbal aromas, and a hint of sweetness. Here's a description of the key elements of Tom Yum soup. Our "Tom Yum (ต้มยำ)" perfume is made with all-natural materials composed with "Tom Yum (ต้มยำ)" soup's structure. The top note with the Sourness is characterized by its tangy and sour flavour profile, usually achieved through the use of lime juice and other Citrus as the tart sourness adds a refreshing and zesty element to the soup along with the spiciness from spices. The Aromatics factor," Tom Yum (ต้มยำ)" perfume is infused with fragrant aromatics that lend a unique and enticing aroma. Lemongrass, Kaffir Lime leaves, and galangal are commonly used in actual Tom Yum soup. Lemongrass adds a citrusy and herbal note, Kaffir Lime leaves contribute a distinct citrus fragrance, and galangal provides a subtle spiciness with a touch of ginger-like flavour. The Depth and Complexity: Additional ingredients like Chalood Bark and other woods enhance the depth, earthiness, sweetness, and aromatic undertones of the perfume. Finally, the Umami in " Tom Yum (ต้มยำ)" perfume is Jasmine Absolute which is renowned for its captivating and sensual fragrance. It has a rich, sweet, and floral scent that is often described as exotic and alluring. The aroma is intense, and heady, and can fill the air with its enchanting presence. 2.2 ML. EAU DE PARFUM   Maruyama (丸山) is inspired by my visit to a herbs and flowers garden in the serene landscapes at Mount Maruyama in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan during the vibrant summer period. Blending the aromas of the plants and flowers I collected on that day creates a unique and enchanting fragrance experience. Maruyama (丸山), an aromatic symphony that captures the essence of an aromatic Japanese botanical journey. A gentle breeze of Summer air carries the scent of blooming flowers. A lush verdant garden surrounded by vibrant petals and lush green foliage, Aromatic herbs captivating the senses and weaving their magic aromatic experiences. Each herb tells a unique tale and its benefits, offering a glimpse into the vibrant world of fragrance. The air is filled with calming and soothing properties, the tranquillity that evokes a sense of serenity, meditation and spiritual elements of all the botanicals within this garden such as Chamomile, Artemisia, Angelica, Lovage, Jatamansi, Rose Otto and more. As you venture deeper into the garden, the aroma shifts. The warm, earthy scent of woods caresses your senses, evoking a sense of grounding and connection to the natural world. It intertwines with the invigorating, herbal and woody embrace of sandalwood. The fragrance journey becomes a symphony of aromatic layers, each one revealing a new facet of olfactory delight. 2.2 ML. EAU DE PARFUM   Natsumeku 夏めく is Japanese for the beginning of summer   "Natsumeku 夏めく" reflects the feeling of summer's arrival, which can be a time of warmth, vibrancy, and new beginnings. The clear blue sky and fluffy white clouds are often associated with pleasant weather and the refreshing atmosphere of summer. They create a sense of openness and serenity, allowing you to appreciate the beauty of nature around you. Japan's countryside is known for its picturesque landscapes, and it's not uncommon to stumble upon hidden gems like shrines nestled amidst lush forests. Camphor trees add to the imagery, as these trees are native to Japan and have a distinctive aroma. Walking through a forest of camphor trees can be a sensory experience, with their soothing scent and the dappled sunlight filtering through the leaves, creating a tranquil environment. In Japan, Yuzu is a citrus fruit that is native to East Asia and is particularly popular in Japan. It resembles a small grapefruit with a unique aromatic fragrance. The fruit is known for its bright and tangy flavour, which is often used in culinary applications. Yuzu has a symbolic value in Japanese culture, representing prosperity, good luck, and purification. Hinoki is a type of cypress tree found in Japan. The hinoki wood's distinct scent is often associated with feelings of relaxation and tranquillity. During the summer, hinoki baths become popular as a way to cool down and unwind. Hinoki wood is used to construct traditional wooden bathtubs known as "Ofuro," which are filled with cool or lukewarm water to provide a refreshing soak. The aroma of hinoki adds to the overall sensory experience, creating a calming and rejuvenating atmosphere. Summer brings abundant rainfall and warmer temperatures, resulting in lush green foliage in the countryside forests. The trees and plants are at their peak, creating a dense and vibrant canopy overhead. The forest becomes a symphony of shades of green, providing a refreshing and rejuvenating environment. Besides my impression of Japan's Summer forest, The inspiration I had in mind during creating  "Natsumeku 夏めく"  is "My Neighbor Totoro," the renowned Studio Ghibli film directed by Hayao Miyazaki, a whimsical and enchanting atmosphere comes to mind. "My Neighbor Totoro" is set in the countryside of Japan and revolves around the adventures of two young sisters who encounter magical creatures in their forest surroundings. Just like the film's protagonists, "Natsumeku 夏めく" exploring the summer forests of Japan can evoke a similar sense of wonder and discovery. Walking through the forest pathways, surrounded by the lush greenery and filtered sunlight, can make you feel as if you're stepping into the magical world of Totoro. The dense forests and the enchanting atmosphere can make you feel like you've entered a realm where magical encounters might be just around the corner. The summer forests of Japan provide an opportunity to escape the bustling city life and immerse yourself in the serenity of nature. The gentle rustling of leaves, the chirping of birds, and the fragrant scents of the forest create a soothing ambience, allowing you to feel more connected to the environment and find solace in its beauty. "Natsumeku 夏めく" is a vivid picture of a summer journey through Japan's countryside, filled with the tranquillity of nature and the inspiration of cultural references. 2.2 ML. EXTRAIT  DE  PARFUM According to Buddhist belief, heavenly flowers, such as the Mandarava, are said to bloom in Trayastrimsa. These flowers are considered divine and are associated with celestial beings and heavenly realms. They are believed to possess exquisite fragrance and beauty beyond anything found on Earth. In Buddhist cosmology, Trayastrimsa is considered one of the heavenly realms or celestial abodes. It is believed to be located on the peak of Mount Meru, a mythical mountain that represents the centre of the universe. Trayastrimsa is often described as a magnificent realm inhabited by celestial beings, including various gods and deities. The Mandarava flower is considered a celestial flower that belongs to the divine realm and is not found in the human world. Its appearance is associated with significant events in the life of the Buddha, such as his birth, enlightenment, and death. The presence of the Mandarava flower serves as a symbolic tribute and an indication of the Buddha's transcendence. Phra Maha Kassapa Thera, also known as Mahakassapa in Pali, was one of the important disciples of the Buddha. He is considered one of the foremost arahants (fully enlightened beings) and a key figure in the early Sangha (Buddhist monastic community) upon hearing the news of the Buddha's passing and his stay in Kushinagar, encounters a priest carrying the Mandarava flower. This encounter confirms to Phra Maha Kassapa that the Buddha has indeed passed away, as the Mandarava flower is believed to appear only in such circumstances. The description of the city of Kusinara being filled with Mandarava flowers after the Buddha's passing signifies the devotion and veneration of the devas (celestial beings) and Mallas (local inhabitants) towards the body of the Buddha. The flowers, along with other offerings, were used to pay homage, respect, and veneration to the Bodhisattva's body. It's worth noting that the Tripitaka is a vast collection of Buddhist scriptures, and different traditions and schools within Buddhism may have variations in their interpretations of specific passages or stories.   My interpretation of "Mandarava" is the odour of a celestial flower blossoming in heaven, where my grandmother is waiting for me in Trayastrimsa, In Buddhism, Trayastrimsa is considered a heavenly realm where celestial beings reside. It is believed to be located on the peak of Mount Meru, a mythical mountain that symbolizes the centre of the universe. The connection of this fragrance is the heavenly flowers with the presence of my grandmother, who passed away years ago. It is a poetic and touching way to imagine her in a realm of peace and tranquillity, surrounded by the beauty and fragrance of these heavenly blooms. Each note represents Buddhism and sacred incense. The Bodhi tree is a type of fig tree under which the Buddha is said to have attained enlightenment. It is considered sacred in Buddhism. Jasmine Sambac is a species of jasmine known for its intensely fragrant white flowers. It is commonly used in perfumery and traditional ceremonies in various cultures. Himalayan Champaca or  Magnolia Champaca is a flowering tree native to the Himalayas. Its flowers have a sweet, exotic fragrance and are used in perfumes. Marigold or Tagetes erecta, is a type of marigold flower native to India. It has a strong, distinctive scent and is often used in religious ceremonies and decorations. Frankincense is a resin obtained from the Boswellia tree species. It has a woody, spicy, and slightly fruity aroma and has been used for centuries in religious rituals and as an incense. Myrrh is another resin derived from tree species of the genus Commiphora. It has a balsamic, earthy fragrance and, like frankincense, has a long history of use in religious ceremonies and perfumes. Lotus, a vibrant flower. It has a delicate and sweet floral fragrance and holds symbolic significance in various cultures, particularly in Buddhism and Hinduism.   "Mandarava", is a reminder of the eternal bond between myself and my grandmother, transcending the limitations of time and space. It became a source of inspiration, hope, and a comforting presence, allowing me to imagine my grandmother's serene existence in the heavenly realm of Trayastrimsa.
